From: David Otten Subject: NELLI: Hemmings International Auto Day We had a wonderful day at the Hemmings International Auto Day. We ended up with one Lotus Seven, one Elan, two Europa S2s, three Esprits, one M100, two Elises, and a Datsun 240Z. The careful planning that John White did paid off and everyone was there at the appointed time and place. We had a great caravan winding up and down Rt 2 and Rt 9. We got to the event around 10:30 and ended up being near the first ones. It rained a little on the way there but most did not stop to put their tops up until they got to Hemmings. After about half an hour the spiting stopped, everyone dried off their cars, and the sun came out. By the time we left at 3:30pm it was getting downright hot. Congratulations to Mark for getting a prize for his 1970 Europa and to Karen for her 240Z. The club was well represented. It was a great event, too bad John White was not able to enjoy the fruits of his labors.
